Customs rules:
For entry and exit from Belarus at any border checkpoint, there are 2 possibilities:
Green CorridorTo use the Green Corridor, you must declare that you do not have goods or that you do not exceed the limits of goods listed below:
- No goods subject to customs duties.
- Alcoholic beverages and beer (including non-alcoholic) up to 3 liters, ethyl alcohol.
- Prohibited or restricted products.
- Goods exempted from duties and taxes.
- Cash and/or traveler's checks, totaling more than 10,000 US dollars, and monetary instruments.
- Coffins with bodies, urns with ashes of deceased persons.
- Personal vehicles registered abroad or not registered.
- Artworks.
Crossing through the Green Corridor is a declaration of the absence of goods subject to customs declaration. Customs may ask for a receipt for goods purchased at duty-free shops.
Red Corridor - On Entry:- Goods subject to customs duties:
- Goods valued over 1000 euros and/or weighing over 31 kg (for ground entry);
- Goods valued over 10000 euros and/or weighing over 50 kg (for air entry);
- Alcoholic beverages and beer over 3 liters, but not exceeding 5 liters per person over 18 years old;
- Ethyl alcohol;
- ATVs, snowmobiles, amphibious vehicles, and other motor vehicles not designed for public roads, motorcycles, mopeds, motor scooters, and vehicle trailers.
- Goods not considered personal belongings, as defined in Annex 6 to the Decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council of December 20, 2017, No. 107.
- Goods subject to prohibitions and restrictions requiring the presentation of documents and/or information
confirming compliance with such prohibitions and restrictions:
- Goods subject to veterinary control (pets, animal products), excluding factory-packaged animal products, up to 5 kg per person;
- Phytosanitary high-risk products (seeds, plants, bulbs, fresh flowers and buds, fruits, vegetables), excluding phytosanitary high-risk products weighing no more than 5 kg in total, and melons, watermelons, pumpkins (up to 1 piece each) and flowers (up to 3 bouquets);
- Weapons, its components, ammunition;
- Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors, including in the form of medicinal preparations;
- Human biological materials (cell samples, tissues, human biological fluids, secretions, human life products, physiological and pathological discharges, smears, scrapings);
- Civil-purpose radio-electronic devices and high-frequency devices (except microwave ovens, mobile phones, "baby monitor" devices, "karaoke" microphones, hearing aids, and radio trainers for people with hearing impairments).
- Personal-use goods imported duty-free:
- Inherited goods outside the EAEU customs territory;
- Imported by a person recognized as a permanent resident in an EAEU member state or granted refugee status;
- Cultural values, documents from national archival funds, and original archive documents, subject to confirmation of their status under the legislation of an EAEU member state.
- Cash and/or traveler's checks, if the total amount of such cash and/or traveler's checks, when imported to or exported from the EAEU customs territory, exceeds the equivalent of 10,000 US dollars according to the currency exchange rate on the day of submitting the passenger customs declaration.
- Money instruments, excluding traveler's checks (bills of exchange, checks (bank checks), and documentary securities).
- Coffins with bodies, urns with ashes of deceased persons.
- Personal vehicles, except those registered in EAEU member states.
- Goods subject to prohibitions and restrictions requiring the presentation of documents and/or information
confirming compliance with such prohibitions and restrictions:
- Human biological materials (cell samples, tissues, human biological fluids, secretions, human life products, physiological and pathological discharges, smears, scrapings);
- Wild live animals, certain wild-grown plants and wild medicinal raw materials;
- Rare and endangered species of wild live animals and wild-grown plants listed in the red books of EAEU member states;
- Cultural values, documents from national archival funds, and original archive documents;
- Collection materials related to mineralogy, paleontology, bones of fossilized animals.
- Personal vehicles, except those registered in EAEU member states.
- Coffins with bodies, urns with ashes of deceased persons.
- Cash and/or traveler's checks, if the total amount of such cash and/or traveler's checks, when imported to or exported from the EAEU customs territory, exceeds the equivalent of 10,000 US dollars according to the currency exchange rate on the day of submitting the passenger customs declaration.
- Money instruments, excluding traveler's checks (bills of exchange, checks (bank checks), and documentary securities).
